Jeez mate you dont give out specifics do you , if you talking modded then a SKYLINE has done quicker 1/4s than any Escort Cosworth so far as for BHP there are SKYLINES putting out well over 1200HP

Kev Sharp is fastest 1/4mile with 10.4@144
Fastest Top Speed so far is MartinH with 194mph.
Highest EscCossie BHP would be that Norwegan one with a claimed 750bhp or so, or in the UK itd be MartinH i think with 630 or so i think.

For Skylines-

Tosspot Andy Barnes is fastest 1/4 with 9.6@(154 i think) in the UK, worldwide its 7.6sec@188
Fastest Top Speed in the UK is 209 by Rocket Ronnie, worldwide its 238mph
Highest BHP proven in the UK IIRC is ProjectX which had about 1100bhp, but most worldwide has been approx 1400bhp.

I hope you wasnt trying to tell him EscCossies are faster etc like it souns you were, as youd now look really silly

There are plenty of near 1000hp cossies in the scandinavia. Some might be over but don't quote me on that. Don't know about other countries but at least in here, modding any car beyond +20% power (compared to the most powerful version produced of that car model) is plain and simply illegal. Therefore most people don't like to shout about them.
