Default Ford Radio 6000 problem

I've got a mk2 focus with a 6000CD stereo in. The only problem I have is that it won't keep time. I've reset it countless times but it either runs about 15 mins slow or goes to whatever time it wants. Any ideas?

if it's playing up like that mate it'll be something that people on here wont be able to answer, if it was resetting itself it could of been a power problem but if it's just running all over the shop it'll probably be something inside the unit that would be cheaper to replace than fix, my advice is to either live with it or get a second hand one.

On the left hand side on the LCD display. Cheers for the replies anyway.

I'd say it does because the time on the trip computer is correct. It's just one of the niggley problems that bothers me

Cheers. It's now the least of my worries since I've now got a possible slipped timing belt. Game over!
