General question - do you have to buy all the music off itunes or can you send your own music to your ipod off your laptop etc?

Daughter has got one for her birthday and just wondering if its gonna cost a fortune to put music on it for her? Have loads of music on the laptop but unsure as to how to get it on the ipod?

Anyone in the know let me know?

 

Pretty sure you can copy your stuff across to iTunes and upload it to the iTouch.

You can certainly load CDs into iTunes and copy them across

When I had mine I never bought any music off iTunes.

 

you can transfur your music into your itunes libary then upload them to your ipod,iphone

 

Just like any MP3/4 player really. If you can put it into Itunes, you can put it on the touch.

 

Dont buy one, I got one, then wanted the iPhone so I could use all the other feature without a wifi connection.

So got an iPhone and now the Mrs has the Touch.

Now she wants an iPhone too

 

4000+ Songs on mine and none payed for.

What ever is in your ITunes playlist will be added to the IPod Touch when you sync the Touch.

 

me and the missus have one each and it keeps her proper quiet lol.

would have got the iphone but my current contract has months to go,but when its up i think ill have to make the jump across cos its such a top gadget.
