Try putting some fresh fuel in. After 3 years its prob 'dead'. If theres alot of old fuel in the tank u prob need to drain it. If i was u i certainly would not put fuel straight into the cylinders.God only knows what u could damage.
AS said don't pour fuel down the plug holes, only likely result will be wet plugs, or if too much fuel hydraulic lock and wrecked engine.
Firstly make sure the oil light goes out under cranking, make sure everything is connected, make sure plugs are ok and sparking.
Can detach intercooler to throttle housing pipe and spray a LITTLE easy start in there as turning over(need assistant here), if sparking it will fire, once up to temp drain/replace oil, filter coolant, fuel filter, drain replace fuel also.

seriously tho................double check all the oil pressure and fuel rails etc as explained. do not try and rush to start her...............they are like good women..... a little fettling and attention here and there, and then all of a sudden she will turn on when she is good and ready.
good luck matey

Probably too late now, but you don't want to start it without being too cautious first. I'd take of the coil lead and crank it over till the oil light goes out, then connect it back up, that way you know you'll have good oil pressure and the engine won't instantly start from o to 900 rpm after 4 years with no oil.
But I'd defo take it to a specialist, but if your hell bent on doing it yourself i'd change the plugs, which cost about a tenner, and drain the fuel, or dilute with alot of new fuel if the level is low enough. It SHOULD start if there isn't a problem elsewhere.
Your probably better off putting up a post on here asking if there is anyone local to you who can have a look, for free, and without sounding too much of a twat it doesn't really seem that you know where to start, so you've nothing to lose really.

I rescued a 2wd saph that had been stood for abt the same sort of time. Thought it would be all hunky dory (my first cossie actually) but oh no......rings gone, overheating, calipers seized, floorpan gone in 4 places and so on. But it was so worth it; the satisfaction you get when shes all up and running!! Plus you learn so much by doing so! To me, that's all part of the fun being a cossie owner! Hope you don't lose heart to quick mate.
Cheers, Chris
