long story short someone smacked my door off a wall today and its bent the edge in about 10mm

what I was wondering was, can it be 'knocked' straight again without cracking the paint? I doubt it...but what if the paint is het up?

chaps paying for it anyway, but would rather not get the door/quarter painted if possible

all you can do in a case like this is try but your best to leve it to some one that does pdr

 

try it, whats the worse that can happen? you have to have it repainted?

 

as jacko said PDR boys are ur best bet as they do it day in day out. Anything is possible with time and effort but deff best left to a specialist, if u have a local bodyshop ur friendly with they may be able 2 do it too!!

Yep, I've had my passenger door on my Focus "dropped" into the door of my wife's car twice and on both occasions it bent it back Dentman has repaired it twice now and you would never know.

 

iv done them before iv even repaired a mk2 escort door that was pushed backwords into a wall with the door open lol

 

Rab, was the Corsa....! still raging tho lol

cheers guys , I know of a dent guy so i'll try him! luckily the paint was only slightly chipped, would touch up no bother, im not gonna attempt to straighten it myself, it's not as bad as I thought after looking at it without red mist but its still fucked
