i am seriously concidering getting a mk2 fiesta of the xr2 variaty. what are the things to look out for on these little jems??

 

Look for one made from metal..... Rare as fook!!






Sills inner and outer rot, boot floors, inner wings the list goes on. Sunroofs have killed most.

 

well that would be a bonus if i could find a good one, at least i got a good idea what to look out for now. cheers

 

Check for rusty sills inner outer as the sun roof drain pipes sit in side the sills so they rust! boot floors as the rear screen washer bottle leaks or when people top it up they spill it, also check front chassis rails and inner wings

Also how much do you wont to spend? i know of a xr2 that has 1 lady owner 33,000 miles from new never welded.
