well i have wanted a mk2 2dr for ages and i have finally got her i am well made up to say the least but the misses is not amused just dont know what colour ,engine ,wheels to do ,do i drop it on the ground lotus steels or minilites revos ,or the dunlop rims engine do i go zetec ,xflow pinto,cosworth ,now what colour i have got some in mind they got to be old skool colours pref ford ones maybe white red ,a green le mans green .Neil

yeah have thougt about lotus colours just dont want to make out its something its not.

 

looks a sweet motor mate i love the old school stuff my old man restored a mk1 rs2000 when i was younger looked the nut's , you doing a full resto on this, have to say the red shut lines and inside the cab and engine bay would really bug me, i'm sure you'll want rid of this though

 

It will be painted inside and out , I am swaying to ermine white but that could change.

Have a look over on old skool ford, loads of mk2's being done at the moment,

zetec 16v seems to be the weapon of choice nowadays .

Looks like a nice basis for a project, not too messed with

 

im tryin not to mess with it too much maybe lower it nice set of rims .

 

I like that alot and I'd do it in the white and green lotus colours just to be different because I've not seen one in those colours
