dont know what youre gonna do dave my mates just dropped in a small block chevy in to my granada and iver got the same problem the american cable fits in the box but the outher ends is different nite mare
This will generate your square wave signal needed, ie on off signal for the speedo, if there are say 6 bolts it is counting for each wheel revolution, times this by the numbr of wheel turns per mile, say 500, so we have 3000 per mile, now input this into the electronic speedo to zero/calibrate it in.

If it is electronic find a electronic speed sender for the gearbox, if you can and again speedy cables can match the two calibration wise, if you can't find a electronic sender for the box simply use a hall sensor on a wheel bolt, prop bolt etc, and use that signal, again speedy cables can match the two together calibration wise.

Doesn't the 2i or FRST have an electronic Speed Sensor on the Gearbox anyway? The cable fits into the sensor which then bolts to the gearbox. You could splice into this and get a feed?
most 3.5 fez's have the speed sensor on the box, you'll have to changed the instrument cluster aswell or get a seperate speedo, ive changed my mk3 fezz to electronic and used the clocks from a zetec-s, easy enough
