Default Need to get another car

Was going to use the M5 as an everyday car but there is 4 seen flaws:

1--Its fucking insane and i can see a ban if used everyday
2--MPG (averging 13mpg)
3--Its getting a DMS tune to 550bhp
4--A tubi exhaust so people will hear me from miles away

Now dont get me wrong, fuel consumption is not a real concern but its just not possible to drive sensibly

So what car for circa 10k - 15k thats fast, fun, reliable, and fairly economical like averging atleast 18mpg would be good

911?
M3?
Boxster?
Evo?

Sorry its another look at me post but some offer valuable advice

Why can others post about wanting new cars, but not Phil? I'd go for an M3.

Try a bicycle. If you can't behave yourself, no matter what bhp you got, you shouldn't be behind a wheel in the first place.

I do wonder if there's something missing in your life if you want to change these high value cars every couple of weeks. Something's not right.

You are saying you wont drive it daily cause it makes you want to drive fast, then you are saying you want a fast car to use instead?

Why not just buy an economical diesel or small petrol car if you want something its easy to behave in that doesnt cost much to run.

Why does the guy need a life if cars are his life? what a load of bullshit, i sense jelousy.

ima racing im with you on this i change cars every few months, but nothing of the calibre of your motors.

Only thing is why would you want a new car to keep you civilised when your options are insane cars?

i think you need a project car

not something flash, something you have to take apart and fix etc

i am being serious when i say this......an old landrover

my dad ported and polished the head and rehoned the block, rebuilt the engine/gearbox himself all in a garage that wouldnt even fit it in all, with basic tools

give it some thought about what you actually you want, if you are into cars and get bored easily think about taking a project on

A nice liitle sane runner BUT it has to be something special i really cannot see anything for upto 15k in the caliber of the M5 to make me insane...or maybe its the drugs? ROFL...side effects do say risk taking/invicibility No joke!!!!!

To add i dont get bored of cars!!!!! I upgrade if needed as cash becomes avalible...there is no other motorbike like a 916sp so sorted there....the merc youd need to spend 300k+ to get a faster better looking droptop production car IMO so sorted there...M5 there is no better engine availble out there currently i mean 507bhp from a n/a motor no mean feat plus the sound plus the V10 is being dropped so a very iconic car!

What you want is either a Boxster or a Focus ST. Obviously they're completely different, but whichever one of those suits your needs/wants best would be perfect.

Tiptronic ruins the driving experience IMO. It's acceptable on a 911, but goes against the best attributes of the boxster! If you really do need an auto, I'd just stick to a more cruiser-ish 330ci convertible or something

Or as a wildcard suggestion, what about a 635csi?

Now they definitely DO suit an auto box, will definitely stand out in the crowd, have enough power to make them really nice to drive, but in a wafty, non-hooligan type way.

Go a bit retro and uber-stylish
