i was tempted yesterday, really really tempted
£1k deposit
£900/month for 2 years
£10k left to pay at the end
so it's going to cost £33k rather than £30k
worth it?

Not being funny, but if you're considering finance like that then maybe you should look for something a bit more reasonable. If you can only put £1k deposit down then I would advise to avoid £30k cars.

i've got a brochure and everything, even the dimensions to see if it'll fit down the driveway after speaking to the rs guy at the dealership ginge works at
but at £900 a month, in about 5 months time i'll have an extra £500 a month and in about 18 months time i'll have another £800 so it's either buy a car or built and extension or pay the house off
if you can afford it, why not, personally, i'd save a bigger deposit and finance over 3 years.
don't buy a green one tho
they look good now, but i don't think the colour will age well. white or blue is the way forward imo.

fuck paying £900 a month whether you can afford it or not, at the end of the day its a fucking ford focus
id want a hell of a lot more car for that, but saying that i havent yet and dont intend to get in debt for anything.

IMO you can't afford a car if you can't pay cash...
well the mk1 focus rs which was limited in numbers seem to be holding around the 10-12k mark and they are 6 years old,as these are mass production i would say they are going to drop in value like a lead balloon
If he had that kind of dosh spare every month surely he'd be buying it cash???
Why not wait 3 years. They'll be about 10 grand then, and I'll be having one knowing some daft twat has lost 20k on it. At 900 quid a month
personaly id wait till the new shape comes out if your going to cos the price of the mk2 will drop when the mk3 comes along same as the st prices dropped when the rs came out
if you look how many mk2 rs,s are on ebay now it looks to me like people are wanting out of them while there worth good money still

a shade over £30k with the options or £27k as a base price is still a lot of money and if i had the money i'd more than likely buy one second hand with a lump of cash, but it's always nice to have a brand spanking motor to sit in

then again, i could always get it as a company car......
jesus fuck some stupid people here.
firstly it's up to dojj whetehr he can afford that a month. he may well have it "spare" so it doesnt really matter whether £900 is a lot to other people or not.
secondly if the repaymenty was £450 over 4 years does that sound any betetr as the payments are less? AFPMSL.
