I saw that Zafira, did it have a green manifold? Saw it do a low 13, surely had to be same one, was same colour, and its not the kind of car you see loads of at the strip?

My mate got an 11.2 @ 139 in his Tigra on its first time out.

 

Yeh has a odd coloured manifold, Chip knows a bit about it as he did a feature on it I believe, I think the owner also has a Corsa.

Is that Danny ? Who's was the white Tigra there today ? I didn't go but had reports of some fast Vauxhalls

Yeah that Nova looked mad, but was about on par with a valver TBH.

Yeah it was Dannys white tigra. I'd actually gone when he ran, the strip spent half the day closed due to random crashes.

 

AH ! Danny who has the bronze one ? wasn't there a bronze one there as well as my mate said he saw one and assumed it was him and was convinced the white one was Speckys. Didn't make any sense at the time but it does now.

Great result though

Yeah there was a bronze one there, with even madder tyres. Can't remember what that did but it was quick.

Did anyone see the 'Carrs' white, mk3 supra, Pro Performance International car run? Did it go well?

 

anyone see the 1100bhp skyline lose it at 150mph he almost corrected it, then he hit the wall, could have been a lot worse, he had slowed down a lot before impact

 

Yeah he scrubbed a lot of speed off!

The RX7 who crossed the line at 134, seems ok then boom straight into the wall. Odd day for stuff like that happening

 

Well i wanted to go to this as haven't done the fast show before, but hey ho maybe next year! Hopefully i can make it to other shows

Bronze Tigra is Sams, his brother had the yellow mk2, both 2L 8v's and has run a 10 I believe

I heard Chris Impeys orange RX won the event as he bagged Ł500, real shame about the GTR, some serious damage by the sounds of things.

 

That yellow mk2 was impressive!!

 

Kept forgetting this year you can take passengers!

 

Was up there with them & my mate Steve's monster spec 200SX... Only done 3 runs if I remember rightly, first one was a 12 I think, second run it got out of shape, and 3rd run the RX7 hit the barrier in front of it, backed off and done an 11 at 98mph I think.

Decided it wasn't worth sticking about after that so packed up and went home
