MK5 fiesta ZS?

not all that quick but handling is perfect!

I know it's slightly over budget and already built but what about something like this?

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1562489.htm

or this one slightly more expensive but looks a bit better imo

106 or 306 Rallye IMO...

Ł4k gives you at least Ł2500 to tune with on either, 306 cheaper as a rule now though.

106 Rallye is lighter anyway and the 16v drops straight in, can buy loads now already converted...

Clio 1.8 16v Ł400, would leave plenty of budget left to spend on tuning/upgrading/cage etc

The AX may well be ugly but fuck the looks off and its gonna be a little nippy car.

Power to weight will be a good ration

Don't blame you, but there's easily Ł6k gone into that 106. Anything you spent on it over time would make it a proper weapon...

That would harass ANYTHING on track

If you really want a build I'd try a 205 GTi6 conversion... Spiky on here has done one, 167hp standard those XUJ engines and with a nice budget there are supercharger kits the 306 boys use, 350-400hp for most of them.

i'd be looking at 3

-106 rallye ph2 with a gti engine (circa 2k and another 2 to prep with cage brakes, cams etc)

-306 rallye as above saw a cracker on PH the other week white with buckets and wheels for 2,800

-205 witha gti6 fitted as above cage buckets suspension shoul;d be a nice one for 4k.

Crowds.

As said above, pug 106 205 0r 306 gti6 or rallye, I go for the 306, as you could leave the engine alone and just play with the susp, good spring and damper kit, soild top mounts, roller bearing wishbones, strut braces and a few other thing, my best mate has a gti6 and done a all this thing and more, and just setting the car up now on throttle bodys. his handle like one of the old BTCC 306 flat all the way through the bends, scares the shit out of me, I can happy take a bend a 60 in the rst and he can go though the same bended at like 90.
