thought id post a few pics of my car up, had it a few months,
it is a 1985 non custom with 92000 miles fsh. Car has a stage one chip 31 actuator, dump valve, magnex, konis. Car came over from jersey in 1997 so is pretty solid underneath. it was rolling roaded at 158bhp at the wheels.

hello m8 see your cars got AVA stickers on it cars going in on friday to get the fuelling sorted out overfuelling, was in a few months back gettin it checked out when i bought it. Cars running at 14 psi guy in AVA said its a tad high on boost but they coudnt turn the bleed valve down anymore. were you from anyway im from johnstone.

 

im over the other side of the tunnel, jordanhill. mine was in ava around febuary getting some work done/set up nothing special. saw a couple of S1's about down their. how long u had ures, had mine since january.

 

had it since november m8, my m8 owned it before me for a while, you might see my old car about dark blue 5 door escort gti with tints and 17's guy in broomhill bought it off me.

 

nah aint saw it kickin about, no doubt i will tho mates sortin out a RS meet in Glasgow soon if ure up for it, was posted on general section by rst88 will be onm 2nd page by now prob have a look

im from a small village called kilbarchan, next to johnstone, about 3 miles from glasgow airport. As for plans im thinking of a grs intercooler plus a set of cams, AVA reckon itll be just short off 200bhp then.

Ive found a chip/bigger ic, cam, -31 on an rst gives around 150@wheels at AVA on roughly 13psi, give or take a few bhp? maybe your engine has more mods than u think?

 

heres the rolling road print out they gave me. Was told to ad on 20bhp for power loss from the rollers.

 

tell you what was out in it tonight first time its been dry for a while its feckin rapid, raced a impreza turbo of the erskine bridge and kept up with it and it was going for it had a noisy exhaust on it.

fit like martin, my car is in at ava at the moment, white s2 g55 nso,you will c it there when u go on friday, in getting there management, newman cam, solid tappets and cossie turbo fitted wi downpipe to suit, they are the dudes for tuning like,

oh my god, i did think the same, looks like the one that used to sit in bucksburn while building work was going on at the oaps place where cloverfield primary was, seen it through union street a few times aswell, its the last 3 letters of the reg thats familiar,
u live in aberdeen, i own c630 psf s1, u might not know it, been getting rebuilt for the last 4 years

 

hi folks stay just outside glasgow, car came over from jersey in 1997 and lived down essex way till a few years ago, so it hasnt been up aberdeen way as far as i know

I have a real soft spot the Series 1, ive had 3 of them, but it has to be said mate, lose the clears and put the spots back on! You cant beat the standard look on the S1!

Nothin wrong wi the clears IMHO, reckon the spots should go back on, if ya can find a decent pair of ford spots and brackets for a reasonable price

Always loved them, just about the only RS that looks better than a nice clean, red S2 (bar the Escos of course)!

car was on the rollers yesterday, now for the embarresing bit, ive been saying to peeps it made 158 at the wheels, it was actually 138 the last time, made 139.8 yesterday. Listening to all the gobbledegook from the guy on the rollers i thought he said ad on 20bhp to your figures for loss on the rollers, its
20 bhp on top for the flywheels figure . Still happy with what its pushing out.
