fuel pressure gauge

Default fuel pressure gauge

has anyone modified there fuel pressue rail to take a fuel pressure gauge to be left on all the time,if so some pictures would help just thinking about doing that way or buying a pressure regulator with a gauge already in it what you guys thinking

thats exactly what i was thinking on doing. did you weld it or braze it to the fuel pressure rail

it came like that when i bought it new from pj motorsport,i have in the past had -6 fittings brazed onto the fuel rail with no problems, so would do it that way.others might have other ideas.

I did one for sir nose, turned a bit of metal tapped it to suit then it was braized onto the fuel rail, braized as the rail is SS and the bit I made was mild steel.
To my mind it is either a gimmick, or if wanting it for warning purposes why put it under the bonnet, the one I did had a pressure sender screwed in for a dash gauge, with alarm.
