I think I'm turning into a bufty...
- I just had the car painted and the finish is amazing - the only time I have seen an Escort as clean, it was on axle stands with mirrors underneath
. As I drove it home on Sat night (thanks Martin H
), I started thinking that I would not take it out on wet days ever again
. How do I fight these tendancies
? Suppose I had better get it on track at Bedford on 19th Feb and get some stone chips on it
.

Rich,
No, the front end was stone chipped to buggery and the arches were suffering from bad stone chips and subsequent start of corrosion.

I just wanted all the bits attended to before they could take hold. Lucky for me Martin had enough Polyfiller left over from his house build

Update:
Since having the car back, it hasn't left the garage (apart from when I quickly cleaned it on Saturday from the journey back from Brum). Problem is, I'm now thinking that if the roads are wet on the club night next week, I'll take the Scooby
.
Anyone please advise a possible cure for these actions

What a bitch - I'll be having words tonight
. I think I will have to hoover it up and clean the inside over the weekend, just to get the inside looking as good as the outside
