welding a temp sonsor on sump, does it matter where its put?

Default welding a temp sonsor on sump, does it matter where its put?

Due to the spectacular lack of intructions with my gauges i need to ask a quickie, i am gonna weld the sensor in the sump for the oil temp, but wanna check does it matter where its put or should it be put in an certain area?

fooking hell man! you dont need to weld the sender into the sump!
You need to get a adapter so you can fit the sender where the sump plug goes!

you can actually get sump plugs that are oil temp sensors aswell.

fook knows where from tho...

well you can weld the fookerinto the sump if you want to! its just a bit easier to get a sump plug adapter if you ring nomad and ask if they will sell im to you youll be ok... otherwise i dont know where you will get an adaper from... and you prob will end up welding a nut onto the sump...
to do that you will need to take the sump off etc so it wil be a bit of a bastid!
