Default cleaning my back box up help

hi ive saw various peoples threads on here about cleaning the exhaust up polishing it ect but how do you actually do it? ive got a scorpion really want to try and get my backbox all shiny again whats best to use ect cheers in advance for help

lightly scotch pad it mate to get the black off then it will need a very good polish, autosol or meguirs metal polish will do the trick, will take hours if your doing the whole thing

Im not sure how bad yours is and as above not sure how much of it your wanting to polish, but ive removed the blackness from the tip and the pipe bit with Autoglym metal polish and a several bits of kitchen paper, then a soft cloth to buff to a shine, really does make the exhaust go from black to mirror shiney, but as said if its really bad and caked on you will need more than kitchen paper and product

I use autosol with some fine grade wirewool,test a little area first before going mad

I use autosmart smartwheels wheel cleaner on mine

spray it on, work it in with an old wheel brush and rinse it off
then use meguirs metal polish to shine it up

takes very little effort this way

Use Mr Muscle oven cleaner. Spray on, it foams, then scrub after 5 mins. It's pretty good stuff!
