How big throttle body for BIG HP?
A guy here is building ~800HP Audi Quattro and is asking around about different BIG HP cars technical solutions. He wonders how big throttle bodies are used on eally popwerfull fords - works RS200 or 700-800BHP Cossies? Anybody know what ind of diameter it schould be?

So .. in first .. on a cosworth you would need to get a custom manifold which bins the elbow...
then .. you go for a bigger throttlebody...
on a cosworth .. 65 mm from a RS500 .. (standard is 56mm)..
this is enough to go to 600 ish...
i use one from an alfa V8 (76mm)...

Hello,
For 800bhp I would advise a 75mm throttle body with a forced induction engine. If you are using say a 650 engine + NOS as Rod does then you can get away with a smaller throttle as the base engine air flow is not effected by the NOS. In this case 65mm is adequate.
