Default 1.8 TD escort estate Immobiliser. WRECKIN MY HEAD!

Can anyone help please??. The immobiliser beacon light is flashing erratically on my car. It won't turn over and there is no heater light coming on in the dash . It was lying up for a while but was running fine one day and the very next day it didn't. It's not a battery problem or anything as i've looked into that. Is there any way of removing the immobiliser or bypassing it? Thanks everybody.

if its a mk5 model that has the red flashing light beside the clock you can simply pull the fuse for the immobiliser, crackin job ford...lol

if you look on the fuse box panel the immobiliser circut is the 1 that has the symbol of a padlock if i remember correctly,as far as i know all your mk5 from 1992-1996 are all the same

hope this helps
