To the passion ford admin
A while ago a few regular posters on the modified models thread suggested asking for a dedicated room for modified models here on passion ford as a lot of us use the thread as a meeting point to discuss models we are working on and to share tips and tricks on how we go about modding our models.
this is a very fast growing hobby that has been very well established in germany , france , and holland for a good few years now and is rapidly growing in the uk now aswel.
I took the oportunity to ask marky3d about this when i asked him how to go about becoming a passion ford gold member and he kindly advised me to start a poll in the general discussion forums which i done on the 27/2/2010.
this has proven to be quite popular and has had a very positive outcome to date.
to back this up i would ask you to look at the amount of hits the last 2 modified model threads have had , the first one started on the 07/11/2009 had over 145000 hits and 5000 reply,s

i am sure after viewing some of the pictures of the work carried out on these models you will agree there is a growing interest in this side of passion ford too.
we take a lot of pride in what we do and most of us have had or still do own the real things and put just as much effort in to the models as we do the real thing.
i honestly do beleive it would be a positive thing for passion ford to have a dedicated room for models as i know there is a lot more people viewing the threads that are not members because they think they need to own a real car to join.
I was one of these people for a year before joining and now find myself on here every day without fail!
