dont know on the gear change but that vid actually excited me love the snaking from the launch and under braking lol

i was gonna say an air shifter i remember seeing a demo on here for one a while back

According to info on the comments it's an air shifter fired by a button the driver uses.

That snaking is crazy , how the hell it doesn't spin out with all that power is amazing and when he pull's the chute and brakes , that snakes him all over as well .
The one that came up on the screen after it is even faster .

Could be via a button, or more likely ecu controlled air shifter.

that would be to stop it swaping ends as the back goes light when the shute is opening
