it went, wen it was bouncing of the limiter, in 1st, spinning wheels to get out of a junction! car wasent up to temp either!

Although i think a contribution to all these factors:
-200 shot of Nos 4 3 years.
-Constant redlining
-5-30 ford oil.
-and running on 3 litre of oil 4 500 mile.

I think thats wats done it. Aprantly they say that the big end fails siezes the rod to the crank and the snaps the rod.

did the AA claim they fix 90 percent of cars at the road side when they seen that

my cambelt snapped on the clio,,,, bloke said " you might be lucky, ive put new belts on before and they have been fine"

then i told him it went at 90, i put it in 3rd, 4th, 5th then 4th again as it lost power,,, then pulled over and tried to start it.... then called you and was told you dont recover from live lanes of traffic so i drove it off the A40 on the starter motor in first gear to get it where it is,,,,, should i look at ordering a cambelt for it and cross my fingers ???

he said he would get the dolly out of the back pmsl
