Money Making Schemes
Hey guys
I am in desperate need of money (arn't we all
). I'm hoping to start to learn to drive next month and i want to do fast past. The problem is i have been saving money for god knows how long and i'm still 500 quid short. I'm going to put my pedal bike on ebay in the hope it makes something. Any other ideas on making a bit of cash, i'd prefere it if it didn't involve horing myself out though
Forgot to add, i've been looking for a part time job since september whilst i'm in college, alls i have had is one interview, which lasted 5 mins and i got sent away.

I do the odd job with my uncle, as i'm studying mechanics in college, so working with my uncle gives me a little expericance and cash, but just no were near as much as i need, it's a shame i'm too young for a loan, cause i'd happily have one right now

If you dont make much money how can you afford to pay a loan?
Thats why theres so much debt in this country
Bung the owners some money and ask them if there local to drop it off for your, or ask a family member to drive it back for you . you want to make money you have to put yourself out and earn it ,theres ways round everything
Good luck

Get a job. What's wrong with working at a supermarket?
You want a get rich quick scheme? Or a loan? Yet you don't even have a job....
Er?????
When I was 16 I did a paper round in the morning. I worked in a sports shop two nights a week and on saturdays and all the school holidays. On Sundays I worked as a trapper at clay pigeon shoot.
Get a good education and put your heart and soul into everything you do and get out with people!!
That's all I ever did

Nothing is wrong with working in a supermarket like i said before if there is any job out there i'll take it whatever it is.
If you read all of my first post you would have seen that i have been looking for a part time job since september, i had 1 interview which was unsuccessful, i have also handed out over 50 cv's in and around the town centre, i've never heard a peep from any of them.

im not from liverpool what is TWOC?
im in the same boat as you mate i desperatly need a job, maybe you should do your lessons 1 by one instead of trying to get 500 quid in a month, then you might be able to afford them

TWOC - Taken Without Owners Consent
Thing is i'm the most impatient person you'd probably ever meet, if i want to learn to drive i want to to it the fast way or no way, god i sound like a brat

my sugestion would be go get a job at Maccy D's if thats the only place, for now, at least its money in and you'll be in a better position than 10% of the country right now who are jobless..
I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!

Few years ago local car main dealers would flog off all the old banger trade in's for next to nothing. You could pick up something like a corsa covered in crud and needing some tlc for Ł200 and with a good day cleaning have a car worth Ł500 - Ł700.
Many would only have a short mot so sometimes a gamble but bought cheap enough could easily turn a profit.
At your age doing it as a little earner you would only need to clear Ł100 profit per car and do two a month, would bring in as much as working all weekend in a shop.
If the scrapage scheme means the dealers don't sell the old trade in off, then look in your local paper and gumtree, people always flogging of old bangers, buy up the ones that are grubby and looking sorry for themselves, but mechanically good with some mot and tax.
Haggle the seller down, get it home, make it look all pretty and then stick it on pistonheads with some profit in it. - even try and get the owner to drop it off for you if you in the same town/city
Some you'll do ok with, some you wont, all down to what you buy and at what price - the key is buying cars that will appeal to all as these will be easier to sell.

Like others have said the best way is to do something like McDonalds I guess. There's no 'Get Rich Quick' scheme that actually works. They all say they do but you'll be the one skint at the end of it, probably with a pile of old envelopes and a load of crap to stuff in them.
And I wouldn't start trading cheap cars either. You can make small profits but you can also chuck all your money down the toilet very easily if you buy a bad one, which is very easy to do down at the crappy end of the market. And you can end up with a load of grief from people if you sell something that you think is okay but ends up being a wrong un.

But up to him at the end of the day, only my advice, no skin off my hairy nose if he doesn't take it.
So its maccie d's or do a wheeler dealers episode on my driveway, sounds like a plan, may aswell try and find a banger while i'm waiting for vacancies in my local McDonalds or KFC, like you guys said, better than nothing
I cant help but notice your location mate, have you heard of Curtis Warren, he had the right idea, look him up, i think he may have been able to afford a fast track course or two. lol
It was a thought, but i ain't got the balls
Yeah he did have the right idea, but i don't wanna go following his footsteps
