its a cool place, got a f1 car in reception and there a museam there aswell but didnt
get to see that, the new wind tunnel is fookin huge m8, well it needs to
be to generate 200mph winds
, i also worked in the main workshop area
that was clinical
it aint as bling as mclaren in woking though, thats the most awesome place
ive ever worked, real eye opener

Good luck
cheers mate, although as such i have no skills, or any experiance of wind tunnells and 3D modular design
i have been emailing the woman who i spoke to and they wont let me have a look around the factory after the interview cos there have the cars in preparing them for this race season, and i am not allowed to take a camera either
(i asked if i could go on a tour of the place, and if i could bring me camera lol)
also there are 2 other peeps to be interviewed.
i really would love to do this job but i fear that my lack of experiance/skills is yet again going to be my downfall.

You've done very very well to even get an interview!! I've applied to a few motorsport teams in the past and never really got anywhere.
What qualifications/experiance do you have?
Good luck

Enjoy your day on Thursday, its a fantastic place.
I was offered a job with the Williams team 8 years ago in the fabrication shop, but due to my daughter being born prematurely wasnt able to take the position.
Hope you get the position

cheers guys, i did ask if i could be taken on a tour of the place and i asked if i could bring a camera lol, the woman said i wont be able to have a look round as they have the cars there and its a critical time with all the pre season testing etc going on.
and a big no to the camera lol
john, the job asked for an apprenticship with HNC/HND and for at least 2 years CAD experiance.
ive got an apprenticship but only an ONC, 3+ years CAD exp and a great interest in cars, i even wrote small bit on the motorbike throttle bodies im fitting to my car in my application letter lol....

It was this that probably distinguished you from all the other "normal" application letters, and got you the interview. When sifting through applications of similarly qualified people, you have to have something that will make people choose you over the next person - so good call
!

I'd like a job that is a bit more interesting myself.
I'd *really* like to work in F1, but since you guys don't seem to have any shortage over there, they're not really interested in giving guys like me (across the pond) a visa to do it.
