Default Anybody KNOW....

how to find out what car a set of alloys came off?

I have a set of aftermarket alloys but not sure what car they came off, they are momo alloys.

Are there any marking that will be on there that will identify which car they are for?

Ta
Matt

Might have on either the back of the spokes of in the inner of the wheel if it has a cap on, a set of numbers. for example 4x108 and et35

Failing that check the PCD of the holes, and then check the offset. Use a straight egde on the inside of the rim then measure the face. Then take off that measurement and you have the offset.

there are some markings/numbers on the rear, will have a check, no point in advertising them without knowing as it will be a million emails 'will they fit my car' lol!!

amazing what people just leave behind when moving out!!

measure the stud pattern. The Stud Pattern is the spacing between each of the wheel bolt/nut holes. This is known as P.C.D or 'Pitch Circle Diameter ' which is the measurement from the centre of each wheel bolt hole on the alloy wheel. if measurement was 100mm then the Stud Pattern or P.C.D would be either 4x100 or 5x100. Again if the measurement was 108mm then the Stud Pattern or P.C.D would be 4x108 or 5x108 and so on.

few examples
4x108 is ford, pugeot and old audis
4x100 is renault, vauxhall an volkswagen
5x114.3 is honda, hyundai, lexus, nissan, mazda
5x112 is audi, mercedes, vauxhall

just look up the rest.
