hi have got a s reg 55 van, and have to replace one of the rear shock absorbers, am unsure weather to replace just the one as this is what the garage said to do, or upgrade them, as i often carry 450 kg any one got suggestions what to up grade to as want a comfy ride

I would replace the pair for the price you can get them for and the shock only does what it says , it stops the , shocks from the road , bounce of the car , doesn't make the ride firmer , springs do that .

 

cheers, might just swap my shocks and can i put 75 springs on, to make the ride firmer, its been a long time since i had to change any thing on a car lol
