turbo's whats the diffrence deisael and petrol?

just wonderd what the diffrence is between say a petrol garrett 25 and a diesel garrett t25

nothing afaik.

Some new derv turbos are VNT and those wont stand up the heat when used on a petrol but turbos of the same model are identical

the temperatures are a real difference. a petrol engine will have higher temps in the turbo

A petrol T25 is often significantly different to other petrol T25's anyway, its far more application specific than just petrol or diesel.

ah i c no probs i spoke to specialised engines earlyer as i just found out that the turbo's on my motor are from a deisel car but they said that was fine its what they used to do back in the 80's to get high talk out the engines so not all bad just the motor is a bit down on bhp for now lol
