Default Fiesta/Focus ST170

I've been offered a cheap(ish) ST170 that is cat C and wondered if I could fit the engine into my Mk 3 XR2i track car. Does anyone know if this is possible in any way? Or am I opening a can of worms and in for a task beyond reason....

Thanks

Yep you can definitely fit the engine in. Some work is need as far as mounts for the engine and gearbox but nothing impossible.

Do a search for an RS1800 called "MANJ" on fiestaturbo.com when it was owned by jimmyesh, he put ST170 running gear into his RS1800, so that might be of help for you
