Default trading?

had a pm stopping me selling anything on here due to trying to help someone, mentioned that i have a workshop[fed up of trying to run my racecar out of 6 council garages and the fact i have a few cossies and council garages arent the safest]and that i put NC motorsport on the post, which is the name my car is entered under,i have only sold gear on here to help building/racing my car,and restoring the others,i work refurbushing trains inside and out and work 13 days on 1 off,[lots of time for business]my posts have been few and not very often, only selling shand parts ive used or no longer require ,if i was a comp it would be reg at comp house please feel free to check, anyone who knows me knows i am not, could the mods please help in rectifying this situation.thanks neil

if your selling parts to fund your race car then it will still be classed as trading, ie; your earning money from it to fund something else.... a good few years back i got quizzed about trading because i had so much stuff for sale but had 6 odd RS's at the time so had a valid reason as most of the parts were bits that had been replaced on the cars. I now have to pay the trader fee to have the company name in my sig.
i did think maybe PF could have a platinum membership for thoe who want to sell a bit more but this would encorage bedroom traders.

so the people on here selling stuff to fund there roadcar must surely be trading then ,i have 3 escort cos and have been doing them up by buying new and selling the old parts to restore them just the same as everyone else, plus ive been rebuilding my racecar, and buying parts on here when available,i had 6 council garages ,so i got a workshop like others on here as the cost wasnt much more and the cars are now safer,so how is that trading.I appreciate your comments guzzler and i think your idea would stop a lot of this being construde as trading when its not.

Mark,

I was kind of thinking that there was an automated way to do so like with the gold member.

Sorry, I guess that you would pay Stu or IB directly after applying.

Ignore me lol

Yep i think you pay direct mate... especially as i think there are a few options in regards to what trading period you pay for ie 6 months or a year etc etc

theres optoins to pay ie 6monthly but it does state in stus post at the start at this forum section and posted 15/7/2007,that a trader can only pay him with a company cheque that way avoiding non gen traders applying.as for the spacers i explained to you i had to buy 5 to get my 1 and i put that post up when i got them and heard nothing,i have sold 3 to my mates and have one left im only trying to get my money back nothing more than that.
