Default Compomotives - changing offset

Are all comps of the same PCD made from the same blank?

i.e. if i had some pug fitment ET15's, could i take 20mm of the face and have enough meat to make them suitable for Ford?

no,you wouldnt have anything left for the mounting bolts, the smaller the et the deeper the bolt holes are drilled,if you took 20mm off the backs your bolts would drop straight through the holes

i had someone wanting to buy a set of wheels from my old mk4 escort, we tried them on the car and the rears would not go on, as the wheel hit the inner arch before the hub.

pug wheels on an escort tho, should go on but might stick out a bit lol

if its local, id do a trial fit!

so looking at the positive offset pic, the distance between wheel centre and the hub face is 15mm for the pug wheel. the ford is 37 or whatever, so witht he pug wheel fitted, the outside edge will stick out further than the wing, but probably look 100% better than the gay offset a ford usually comes with

It may look ok, but useless if your arch is cutting straight into the tyre lol

Low offset is goooooood!

Roll the arches, get it decked, add decent width and offset = any car looking cool
