feel a bit stupid asking but

i am almost ready to start the engine on the mk2 escort fitted with a cosworth 4wd engine converted to 2wd ie sump has been changed to 2wd big wing sump.

anyway

i am running
4wd t3 turbo
rs500 intercooler
rainbird plenum
bailey breather
big winged gated baffled sump
3bar map sensor
megasonic dump valve

the only things i havent done is the air filter

when i was talking to someone the other day they was saying i shoud fit a -31 actuator ?????

what do u guys think?

what are the up sides and are there any down sides

I was told to use -34 on big engines and turbos as you have. There is a -34 on eBay which is a friends for Ł20 as new. I down graded my Gtt to a -31 as I was told it's better for the smaller turbos.

it may need the rod extending for your car.

 

34 on my car works better for me,more of a kick and 22-24psi.The 31 I fitted made it feel lame as.The car originally had a -34 which I thought was a 31 so I purchased a collins -31.The car was shit slow.One spring change sorted.
