hi mate the glass is held up with 4 truck valves (with some tyres from a kids toy quad to protect the glass ) on the out side and on the inside the ends of 2 merc sprinter cams with little sucker pads on to stop the glass moving

thanks for all your coments it probley cost about Ł25 quid i bought the block off ebay ages ago for 99p the glass i had from a table my bro give me (thanks steve ) the valves were from a machine shop free out there scrap bin the cams were from a old engine at work all i really has to buy was the paint

I'm only interested in one thing - how heavey is it.
I fancy doing something like this for my house but am concerned about the weight for moving it around a bit.

not sure kg wise but i can pic it up without the glass and lift it above my head as its all alloy (well steel piston liners)
