Just as I do when I watch Alain Robert, I can't help but wonder what happens if you get halfway and realise that you just can't do it. Falling from there would actually take some time, enough time to be able to reflect upon your life and whats about to happen to you.

Watched a Doccy about him a few weeks ago .. He is now a Multi-Million-Aye thanks to being stupid.

He attempted to walk a line about 4000ft up but lost his arse.

The Bloke is also an Expert rock climber and got into hot water for climbing Delicate Arch in Utah.

 

Strange hobby, amazing balance but blatantly an accident just waiting to happen.

 

Quite a few have plunged trying to Free walk the high-lines ..

Allot harder than a Tightline as this moves about and he has no Balanceing tools either ...

There was a programme on tv about this guy last year sometime.

He climbs vertical cliffs and overhangs etc wioth nothing but chalk and a pair of shorts. Was married to a female climber but got divorced because he was so addicted to his hobby/career whatever you want to call it.

Its impressive and interesting but totally crazy, imo.

 

Was this the bloke who climbed some towers in Dubai I think, or might of been Thailand and put a line between the top of them and then pissed the police off by just sitting mid-line there laughing at them when they all came up to get him down? Pretty sure there was a doccumentary about him sometime in the last 6 months

Aye the show I watched must have been a Repeat because it was on a few weeks back ... He lives in a Little shack in the middle of the Mountians ..

Said his live went to fuck when He climbed Delicate Arch in Utah. He lost sponsorship etc etc and His wife told him to Go fuck yourself as it was messing her Career up as well .. (Talk about better or worse)

 

Just watch the vid, he's not doing it completely with out safety stuff, got a base jumping shoot in case he falls, but still hats off to the fella! wouldnt catch me on a rope bridge that high, let alone just a rope

 

that was a good programme that was on a while ago, part of c4 daredevil season i think it was.

that particular rope took him several goes whilst tied to it and then he cracked it freestyle. but when you watch him fall, you can see that he has a simple technique of always catching himself and swinging back on top. very impressive though.

Did anyone see the programme about the bloke that used a wingsuit to skim the peaks of the matterhorn? He was proper screwed up

 

Total madness if you ask me.

He must get such a buzz from doing it, but I can't figure out why rock climbing wouldn't give him the same buzz?!

 

I think its stupid and obviously dont value life.
