Basically im after some advice from anyone with an opinion.

The Mrs was on a guilt trip one day and joined Gymophobics (thieving robbing bastards that they are) and did the typical woman thing. Went once and never again!

After having read the "agreement" (Contract) it seems pretty air tight regarding early cancellations. IE we cant cancel

I had pretty much come to terms with loosing £40 per month for nothing (Its not the money its the principle etc etc etc) when lo and behold, they have shut up shop and moved about 10 mins down the road to different premises.

What I want to know is, does this give me grounds to cancel? As the contract was for 1 address they no longer trade from there etc.

1- Say you are leaving the country...

2- Letter from the doctors saying you should not do anything phsical........

 

 

you applied yourself to being a fat fuck before you got into going to the gym, maybe she will go in time

 

+1 Pet hate of mine is all the fatties that join after new year, clog up the gym for about a month then fuck off and never see them again because they have no determination.

Either that or just cancel the direct debit.

why dont you get a doctors notice saying that you are unable to perform gym activities.... docs note should enable you to cancel

 

The easiest way is to get them to cancel the membership. You'd need to get your Mrs to breach one of their own policies.

As an idea, you could get her to make a pass at every woman in the changing rooms. If one of them accepts, this could be a win/win for you whatever the outcome. Smoke crack in the jacuzzi, take a running piss on the treadmill and claim she's training for a double marathon, answer everyone's greetings with "CUM ON MY FACE" really loudly?

It could work.

My mrs goes to a gym at an all girls boarding school, full of 16 year old girls in tartan gym skirts every night, its fucking amazing when I go drop her off and have a gander through the windows

as said there should be loophole whereas if she is unable to go and gets a note from doctors, most have to but u would have to find out.

The mrs signed up a few years back to one but never bloody went, was one that u sign up for a fixed term etc, ended up not paying and they sent threatening letters etc threatening to default and charge her the full amount. Was in the small print if u get a doctors note saying u cant go ( she was signed off work at the time anyway) then u can end the agreement early with no charge. Unfortunatly she then ended up in hosp with a serious illness and by the time she had sorted a letter they had already defaulted and wouldnt reverse it!!!

Now gets a letter now and again saying she owes XXX amount and to pay etc but thats been the same for nearly 2yrs now so im guessing they'll give up at some point

 

Of course but i never fucked about joining a gym or going on daft fad diets, i accepted i was a fatboy and happily lived with it for a while, then as soon as i decided i wanted to lose some weight i joined the gym and BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM, i do it.

I just canceled the dd on mine, end of the day how can you be billed for a service you are not recieving.

it was in the papers and on the telly and watchdog and shit like that, docrots note to say your arms/legs/blood pressure/something else is fucked will get you off the hook

alternativly, you could always "injure" yourself on one of them machineries and call one of them compo lawyers while you settle back and relax
