You can't get the bulb from Ford, just the whole bit, but you might be able to get it from somewhere like Maplins. I got a new bit a while back with battery and everything and it was about Ł17 if I remember correctly.

yea ive seen them for about Ł10 odd on ebay but obviously a bulb if their availible is cheaper to replace than the whole thing! and tbh never bothered with it on any of my cossies in the past lol, but if i can get a bulb or LED for it cheap enough will probably make the effort!

Ford still supply the whole key, brand new and cut to suit. Not expensive.

Mate got one a month ago.

LED would be much much better, and last indefinitely(almost), easy mod to do, most are between 1.8 and 2.8V so can run direct depending on battery or just a few pence resistor.
I always have a led keyring torch(modded of course!!) on my car keys.
