best way to time a std ex cam and bd14 in cam?
ok, im just fitting a std exhaust cam into my car, and im going to redo the timing of the inlet cam aswell (bd14)
whats the best way to do this?
im going to borrow the tools off a m8 and the engines out of the car so shouldnt be too hard.
what figures do i want to set them to?
im going to take the car to reyland at some point soon to have them swung on the rollers but wanna get them somewhere in the right ball park 1st.
orr shall i just set them to std and let martin do his thing?
cheers

Just set them both up 110 - 110 won't hurt.
You will find not many 'tuners' will give out cam timing info freely on the net

Just set to std, make sure you have enough clearance(pocketed pistons) if swinging the cam timing.
It's not that tuners won't give out the info, each engine responds differently to get the best so will only be an educated guess anyway, will still need swinging to see what works best.
