Default show me your weight loss interiors

As title,

pic's of drilled/cut/stripped interiors

just trying to think of ways to get more weight out of my car,

carbon doors will be on the agenda when funds permit

but for now unwanted metal will be removed

Have you had the car weighed yet?

Be good to see which areas you need to focus on removing the weight then.

Why not get fibreglass doors/bonnet instead of removing metal from the interior of the chassis?

sure they must weigh a lot less than metal ones!

I would see if you can get weighed just out of interest, then you can move things around accordingly. Battery, tank etc.

Overall weight distribution you can sort with your shocks... Just want to get the centre of gravity lower!..

However im debating on fitting glass in the rear of mine again.. BUT then on the same breath im adding weight back up top!..

My ass is sooooo light though on Festa!

Do you have a lower limit in your regs? How much does your car weigh now?

my race saxo weighs 705kg and we are not allowed any carbon etc but i have a lightweight carbon seat, lightweigh roll cage, every bit of underseal and wire stipped.
in my sierra ronnie i have cut the spare wheel well out and took the fuel tank out that should help a lot.
