I'm returning to the UK shortlyafter living in Australia for 15 years. One of the first things I'll be doing is picking up a Fiesta or Focus - a hire deal is money down the drain. Does anyone have any idea how to get insurance quickly and without hastle? I've a valid UK passport, a paper UK driving licence issued to my last UK address and I will have a permanent (different) address on arrival. Preliminary enquiries of some of the big companies have not bee encouraging!

If you have built up bonus in Oz, you shouldn't have too many problems. You have a UK licence and passport too, so everythig working in your favour.
