Hi All

I've embarked on my random unloved project car, and have been looking at engines to put in. It looks as though the choice is either 1.7 from a puma or a 2.0 zetec or duratec. Since I'm after something a bit different to go with my quirky 4 door shell, does anybody know if the V6's from the mondeos have the same bell housing bolt pattern as the rest of the ford range? Will they mate to IB5's or MTX75's??

i believe they will mate to a bc/ib5 box, been done in a mk2 fiesta before.

 

My mate fitted the v6 box it came with. had to fabricate some stuff to get the hydraulic clutch working but was pretty straight forward from what he said

 

ok cool, i've read an article today that mentioned the V6's use the mtx75 box, so with the clutch sorted etc it should mate to an IB5 etc
