Who makes/ sells a uprated engine mount for a cvh. . . I've got vibra-tec gearbox mounts, just need the engine mount uprating now.

Need one for the Orion when I come to fit the zetec turbo lump using the cvh mount

 

i know that vibratechnics have made these as prototypes, came up on an xr2 forum a bit back from a xr2 racer.
basically one of his sponsors could get them, but were about Ł150 ish and nothing ever came of it in the end.
these should have been the same across all cvh mounts.

 

not heard of anything available for the engine mount

 

shame i need 1 aswell mines is on its last legs

Ive made one, just have to test it first, then will start to sell them.

Its a solid nylon mount, so only has a very small amount of compliance.

Hopefully new car will be running this weekend, then give me a couple of weeks to thrash the S##t out it, then we will know if its good to go!!

Takes me about 3 hours to make so will be priced accordinally.

yeah vt do them as i supplied them a mk3 mount to copy

got the first one they did on mine and it does what it says on the tin

I was indeed mate. About Ł200 for the two gearbox ones and engine mount.

Looking for a suitable alternative.

He was selling the engine mount but sold by the time i'd decided to replace mine. The other ones in the picture are being used on his fiesta.
