Default Help! keep blowing exhaust manifold gaskets!!!

Blown 3 in the last 2months?!?!
Changed one the other day and within 2miles of coming on boost...its blown again!

Anyone know why?

Im using motor factor gaskets could that be the problem?

Should i try a gen ford gasket/maybe get the manifold skimmed?

Cheers
Matt!

Could be a warped manifold so maybe worth just checking it for flatness.....BUT if you're using motorfactors gaskets without the fire rings in then it's almost certainly the problem as without the meatal sealing rings that the genuine ford gaskets come with they do tend to blow through the gasket at the edges of the holes where the gasket is the thinnest. Get hold of a genuine one and try that first mate

Manifold to head? Original manifold? I know tubular aftermarkets aren't exactly renowned for being skimmed flat. Ive used more aftermarket than Ford gaskets and never had a problem especially at that gasket. Something must be warped or your over/under tightening.

IVE used aftermarket gaskets, they aint worth time and money mate. They even worse on highly tuned engines.stick with ford items where possible.hope that helps.
