am after a mk 4 escort lsd gearbox and just wanting to no if it goes straight into mk 3 fezzy turbos i no the blocks the same but are the gearbox mountings ????? also i have a lightened and balanced flywheel for a series 1 gearbox will this go in a s2 box and still work with a fiesta efi management i was told it wud not ? also wot differences is there through the gears between fiesta box and s2 lsd !!! ie any more speed in 3 or do they have the same drive ??? sorry not clued up on gearboxes aint had a ford long enough before its gone bang lol

 

Right I have both a frst and esrst and can tell u the followin,
the gearbox out of a mk4 will fit no probs mk3 escort box will not.
Your lightend flywheel won't work. ( no cps marks)
and in my experance the fez box has shorter gears as my fez Is reving high at 130 where the Scort goes to 145 ish with revs left hth mate!

 

bollocks am never gonna get shut of this bloody flywheel cost me 200 quid aswell for my s1 but it went ! cheers anyway mate uve answered my question good and proper esrst 145mph thats better i no wot u mean my fez is flat out at 130 with no more to give with this box it must develop more torque eh? do u no if theres a big difference in acceleration in boost ???

 

oh will it increase bhp ?
