You have to hack the fuck out of the arches and then be left with a car that will never drive quite right. ime the 8J rim width and ET25 offset make them completely unsuitable. Do look good though so I guess it depend if you're prepared to sacrifice driving for looks

with 195's on they will only rub if you go too low.. im runnin coilovers. (get ready for 195's are too thin and stretched thread but thats not about this lol) and for handleing, yeah if you want to go on track they not great but just for normal day to day i didnt notice too much. but i wouldnt fit them to standerd suspension will just look gash. imo.

oh and my arches are standerd, never been cut.

i have cossie rims on mine with 195/40/16 and i dont get any rubbing at all. its lowered about 30mm front and rear on koni shocks and springs. the only thing i have found with these wheels is that you get inner edge tyre wear and you need to replace wheel bearings quite often.

never had to change a wheel bearing on mine..
never had them eat inner/outers of the tyres..

also i have coilovers and adjustable bottom arms on the front. and id also advise gettin a proper 4 wheel set up at a good garage when they are on (i used Awesome gti in Urlam, Manchester).

195's without rim protectors will give you stretched look.. with rim protectors will still give you same stretch but just doesnt look like it.

this is a 195 with rim protectors in the tyre, you can see same stretch but tyre doesnt look too "pulled" away from the rim.
