Should be as follows:

The display will say IN01 IN02 or something?

With the key out of the ignition press the odometer reset button (hold down)

Turn the ignition on (warning lights come on) wait about 10-15 sec until most or the lights are off (still pressing odometer reset button)

Turn ignition off (button still pressed) and remove the key

Release reset button

Should be fixed

2: while still pussing it down the the ignition on

3: with the ignition on and the milometer reset down, twist the other reset button on the dash cluster to the right

4: release the milometer button first, then the other one

5: then press the milometer rest down once

i think your all way out there , have you got a full digi panel ?

does the service indicator say 'service due' or 'inspection' or a little spanner light ?

if so unless youve got a service tool you cant do it !! , or you need VAG 5051 to reset it !!

mark

p.s the very old type indicators said 'in01' and in02' and 'oel' !!

Service indicator says 'service due' and GSF are saying it's reset with the buttons as I asked to buy the service tool but apparently there isn't one??? Nobody seems to know for sure!

I have the registration if anyone can check this?

Cheers,
Jim
