With the amount of mk3 parts your gluing on there, wouldn't it have been much easier just to buy a mk3 in the first place!

Well, you certainly have a challenge on your hands! The Mk3 dash is quite nice, but I'm not a fan of the front bumper, and the scooby bonnet need to go IMHO

yea the dash is now fully secured< the heater dials/vents/clocks etc all now work, hectic bit of re-wiring.
i only got that bonnet cos it cost me a nifteens and the original1 was a mess. lol.
iv got the fogs to go in the bumper and 12000k HID kit for them. and i have fitted 8000k hid in the headlights

not too sure about this however im all for originality,,, only things id change on a car maybe insert a better/faster engine.. or play about with the engine thats there body wise.. it think id leave it alone to be honest unless i was making small changes like for example bubble arches on a mk1 escort them sorta mods.. but hey its just what i like.. each to their own,,

Good luck with the project

Much prefer standard looking MK2's, but each to their own.
