Default Reversing Light

Mines not working at the moment.
We have checked the bulb. Its OK
We checked the holder which is the same as the fog light holder. Its OK

The holder is getting the voltage so it must be an earth fault.
does anyone know where it will be earthed?

had anyone else had this issue?

Thanks

Hello,

I worked on a ST-2 recently with the same problem. I changed the bulb holder and it fixed it.. Yours may be the same issue?

If it's getting no earth, just put in another one(earth wire) is easiest way, could be a bad connection or a break anywhere in the loom, just not worth the hassle imo.

thanks tabetha. I need to do something but would prefer to do it without adding wires and altering.

I'm pretty sure these are switched earth anyway, so you will always have +12v. Check to see if you have continuity between the earth pin and the chassis when reverse is selected.

Do you have parking sensors? If so, do they work? That would rule out switch failiure.....
