I have already got a cossie had it for about 4 year now and loved every minuite of it. I only asked as there is a lad who has a cav turbo where i live who says it quick so was wondering how it would compare to my cossie.

PMSL at the tag

i dont think itd be as quick on the road, cossie boost spike and all that and i think a cossie would have more torque

could be close though

Loved my cav turbo, real cruise machine, did feel a reasonably rapid car but I was only young at the time, would imagine a phase 3.5 with the power mentioned above would be a nice car. Transfers are weak but not made of glass, long as they are looked after they aint too bad.

There actually decent cars mate, my pal had a couple back in the day, drove and went very well, just the transfer boxes that let them down. different kettle of fish to a cossie though imho.

They are very quick, alot faster than you'd expect, i think it'd certainly put up a good fight against a Stage 3 saff.
You could also have a competition to see which one rust faster too!

You'll struggle to get a p3.5 cav past 315hp, infact seen as most of them have seen better days realisticly your going be/should be around the 300hp mark. Seen as it uses a very small turbo if rolling it'll likly pull out a car length only to be reeled back and then passed before you see the national speed limit.

mine clocked 110mph on the 1/4 mile which i think is about on par with a stage 3 saph? it did have a few extras though. and it was only 2wd. it got to the end of the speedo very easily as well. never had it on a set of rollers where it would stay on them but as you say you wont get much past 300hp on the standard turbo, its about the same size as a t3.

my saff hits 109 on the 1/4, but its 4wd and got a bit more than a stage 3 on greens.

Always fancied one myself, had a couple of cav's and they have been bullet proof for reliability.
