What do you think? I think it looks awesome in that colour but the steering wheel is shit, looks like it came out of a 1960's Jaguar.

IIRC that car started at about 20k, then 18k, then 15k.......
he cant shift it - cant recall if he registered it or not. i would ask if its tax & mot'd and what the V5 says

It does look good, but that steering wheel in so naffff!!!!
Engine bay looks a bit of a mess too,most of the loom looks thrown in.

So it's a reshell [on an old ID], with all new bits? The numberplate is coming up as 1986 with quite a few owners?
Doesn't appeal to me personally, if it was on an 07 plate it might be nice for the novelty

Personally I'd rather stick Ł13k into an escos or a proper 3 door without a story, at least there's half a chance you'll get your money back when you sell it.

In 50 years time there's going to be one of those fly on the wall documentaries following around the Yorkshire council workers. They'll be going into his gaff with gas masks and the full kit on, old newspapers stacked up to the rafters, cat poo everywhere and half a dozen outbuildings full of cars he never wanted to share with the world.

Yeah i know they never came in that colour but it doesn't mean to say it doesn't look nice. Much as i love all the standard colours that Ford produced the 3 doors in and they are one of my all time favourite cars, i bet this blue one would turn more heads if it drove through a town centre purely because it looks different (just my opinion).

Just had another look at the first piccy, those wheels in white really compliment the metallic blue of the bodywork & vice versa, i would definately leave it that colour.
