Best Way To Stage 4 A Saff
Looking to up the power on my saff, need some advice, my car has a T3 Hybrid, Dark greens,200Block, Wanna go for the new T38 but wanna know what you's think....
Sounds like your doing what I'm in the middle of.
Karl is doing my engine for me, (Stg 4 "420bhp"). I was going to do it all on a standard comp bottom end, but for the sake of spend abit more, i've decided to go semi low comp in an effort to keep it reliable and as a better stg 4 conversion.
Basically Fully Modified Head by Karl including different valve springs, + his own cams, T38 (Universal Turbo's Version), Greys, EEC IV Inlet Manifold and flowed inlet tracts, Obviously Fully rebuilt Bottom End.
You could probably do it all using a very good standard comp bottom end, which I intially wanted to try, but after spending so much on the head, turbo, inlets etc, I decided to go the whole hog and have the bottom end done as well.
I would say I'll let you know how it goes, but I have to go over to the USA for about three - four months as I work over there, but I'll let everyone know when it's finished.
There are two versions of the T38 going about at the moment, One is i believe Turbo Technics which is a full one off. (And appears to have surge problem if used on anything but a fully flowed head) and the other is Universal Turbo's version, which for me, is the better of the two for what I want.......... High Torqe, Low lag.
But it depends what your after as to which is more suitable.
