What Colour Are The Windows On A Black S2 RST?

Is it a green tint or clear?

 

all rst,s came with a green tint iirc

 

some have bronze tint mate

 

i was under the impression that rst's were green, xr's were blue an the rs1600i's had the bronze, not callin u a liar bud

 

ive got an escort bonus but looks like a rs...when i brought it it came with tints ive bin thinking about taking the tints off because they are starting to peel how hard isit to replace the windows?

Some Mk3s (RST, 1600i) have bronze, all Mk4 RSTs have green tint.

 

ok thanks 4 that ... think i'l just remove the tints when i can b bothered its bit of a hassle changing all the windows

 

prob be quicker changin the windows than cleanin all that shit off lol

As above S1 RST had bronze and S2 RST had green tint.

My S2 has bronze tint as I fitted S1 opening rear windows and wanted it all to match so chnaged the door glass as well as the tailgate.

 

Very early Series 2's had bronze tint glass Ford must ahve had it left over.

 

My 1981/2 MK3 XR3 has orgional bronze tint glass with non-opening rear 1/4's. I think the blue tint you refer to is just ordinary glass. Ford do some weird stuff with their glass. I had some late-spec FRST opening quaters and they were clear, not green tint like the other RST onesI had.

 

my C-reg Mk4 XR3i has bronze tint, my 90-spec S2 has green and both have opening rears

if i buy a Bonus or Pop it'll have to have clears so i can complete my collection

 

def no blue tint on rst's..first ford with blue glass is the new shape mondeo ghia x iirc

 

My red s2 with is 80spec 1987/88 has clear windows in...still got reg etched in all them
